Irene Lo

Irene Lo is a yoga asana teacher of Han/Hakka ancestry that believes in yoga as a spiritual practice of liberation. Once upon a time, she was a sleeping model minority. What woke her up? Yoga. As she deepened her practice, she fused her love of yoga with social justice values and intersectional feminist politics. Irene has led trainings, created summits, and retreats based on her passion of yoga and how it can be a trauma-informed space to heal in community.

Irene’s unconventional nature, coupled with her spirited ethical stance, makes her the perfect companion to navigate the topsy-turvy world of the yoga industry.
